Smoke and the city

Macine - closed cinemas festival

During the last International Roma Film Festival a parallel 

festival invaded the streets of Rome: Macine. 

Different kind of artists tried to draw attention 

on the high number of abandoned cinemas in the city 

through posters. Mine was a 4 x 0,5 meters representing

a fictional row of the empty cinema Astoria in garbatella

(where it was pinned up, until it was demolished,
few months later) full of charachters staring to 

the street's life, like ghosts enjoying their last show.

Operaja Criminale is an indie rock band from Rome.  

This is the artwork I did for their first album, produced by 

Giorgio Canali and released at the beginning of the year.

For Christmas I finally bought a decent 2.1 audio system

and I am testing all the music I used to listen with my

crappy laptop's speakers. While I was discovering new

sounds and beats on BOY IN STATIC's CANDY CIGARETTE,

I took an old sketch and had some fun...

Cover proposal

A cover proposal for a free magazine's cover.

Eva series

I met the character of Eva Spence around the web, she is

the singer of Rolo Tomassi, a very interesting english band,

and I suddenly got caught by her image, so soft and hard

at the same time, linking those extremes with an interesting

charm and taste. So I started to draw the vision I have of

her mood and her world, with no rules or plans,

just some fun experiments.

Untill now i have five pieces, but since i started with a 01,

I should arrive at least at 10!

Few days ago an exhibition of my works in the centre

of Rome has closed, here you can see some of them.

They are entirely digital works, done in the past month

with my wacom intuos 3.
